How to reach Xi'an
By Airplane
The airport of Xi'an is the Xianyang International Airport (XIY) (http://www.xxia.com/en/) that is located 25 km from Xi'an city center. It provides international flights between Xi'an and Asian/European/Oceania cities and main cities of Chinese mainland. The Airport has 3 terminals. International flights will arrive at Terminal 3, while flights from Chinese domestic cities will arrive at Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. The Airport and the city are connected by the Airport Express highway.
Direct International Flights
There are direct flights between Xi'an and European/Oceania cities:
Xi'an (XIY) - Paris (CDG): HU7907/HU7908 operated by Hainan Airlines.
Xi'an (XIY) - Rome (FCO): HU7971/HU7972 operated by Hainan Airlines.
Xi'an (XIY) - Sydney (SYD): HU7993/HU7993 operated by Hainan Airlines.
There are also many direct airlines between Xi'an and Asian main cities: Hongkong, Taipei, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, etc.
Transferred International Flights
The Xianyang International Airport also has many flights that connect to most main cities in China. Guests from the outside of Mainland China can reach Xi'an by transferring through other Chinese cities including Beijing (PEK), Shanghai (PVG), Chongqing (CKG), Kunming (KMG), etc. We suggest that guests transfer through Beijing/Shanghai, since there are 10+ daily flights between Xi'an and them.

By Airport Shuttles: there are Airport Shuttles that connects the Airport and main spots of Xi'an City.
