This conference program is tentative and subject to change.
In particular, at least a full registration is required for each paper to be included in the program and in the preprints. Only papers presented in the workshop will appear on IEEE Xplore.
Poster presentations by master/PhD students in Xi’an
A special session on Wednesday morning will be devoted to poster presentations by students doing their master/PhD in some Universities in China, and working on topics related to the WODES themes.
The purpose of the session is to provide an opportunity for young researchers in these Universities in the field of Discrete Event Systems and related areas, to present their work and interact with the WODES participants.
The interested students should send an email to Prof. Carla Seatzu (seatzu@diee.unica.it) with the following information:
- the title of the presentation,
- the name of persons involved in the research and their affiliations
- an abstract (approximately one page) describing the content of the presentation
The deadline for the submission is May 20th, 2016.
The Program Committee will select among the proposed contributions based on the interest of theme for the WODES community and the quality of presentation of the proposal.
No registration fee is due by students presenting a poster.
Social Events
- Tuesday: A tour of DaYanTa Area after Tracks before Banquet;
- Tuesday: Workshop Banquet at 19:30;
- An all-day tour with lunch will be arranged on Thursday (June 2) and the price will be around 400 CNY (the price may fluctuate depending on the number of participants). The tour will include a visit to tourist attractions around Xi'an and the Terracotta Army --- Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. Returning hotel will be around 18:00. Attendants who want to join the tour please send an email to wodes2016@diee.unica.it before May 28. Please specify "Tour on Thursday" in the subject and provide the following information in the main text:

- Email addressPlease note that the expense of the tour is not included in the registration fee of the workshop and the money will be collected at the registration desk on the site.
