Submission

All papers must be submitted electronically through the PaperCept Conference Management System at https://controls.papercept.net/conferences/scripts/start.pl#WODES16 and following the link "Submit a contribution to WODES 2016"

For the purpose of review only, manuscripts up to eight (8) pages long in the standard two-column IEEE conference format will be considered. If accepted, final manuscripts are limited to six (6) pages. Accepted papers exceeding the normal length may be included in the proceedings upon payment of over-length page charges for each page in excess of six pages (400 CNY per page), up to a maximum of two additional pages.

 

A full registration is required for each accepted paper to be included in the proceedings and the program.

 

Special sessions papers

Special session papers will follow the same schedule and reviewing process as regular papers. They must also be submitted through PaperCept following the link for invited session papers. When submitting a special session paper the authors should specify the session code that has been sent to them by the session organizers.

 

Best student paper award

Purpose: To recognize excellence in a conference paper contribution whose primary author is a student.

Basis: Originality, clarity, and potential impact on practical applications or theoretical foundations of control. Guidelines: To be eligible, the primary author must be a student at the time of original submission and the paper must have been accepted for presentation at the WODES 2016.

Procedure: Nominations must be made by the student's major professor (advisor) through PaperCept.

1. Fill out the nomination form (download here);

2. Submit the form for Best Student Paper Award by following: Start => Submit a paper or session proposal links. Then submit the nomination by clicking the "Submit" link next to Paper Award Nomination.

Important Information: The nominating form must be filled out in full containing the following information:
1. A paragraph certifying that the nominee is the main author of the paper and was a student at the time of the paper submission;
2. A paragraph with a brief description of the contribution of the paper and the main reason why the paper is being nominated for the award;
3. The advisor's telephone number and e-mail address;
4. The original submission number assigned by PaperCept.
5. Nominations are limited to one per advisor.
Nominations Open: March 20, 2016
Nominations Close: April 17, 2016

 

Copyright conditions

The Proceedings of WODES 2016 will be published in IEEE Xplore Digital Library, therefore all authors must follow IEEE Intellectual Property Rights guidelines and policies. Evidence of plagiarism (and even self-plagiarism) will result in paper withdrawing at any stage of the selection process.
