Venue of the workshop

Reims is the city of French kings coronation and champagne. The conference will be organised in the Congress Center, within walking distance from the historical, cultural and tourist center of Reims.

The registration desk will be installed in the Congress centre hall during the conference.

Travel information

Reims is situated 150 km to the east of Paris. It has a direct connection by shuttle car with both Paris airports: Roissy and Orly. The railway station and the A4 and A26 motorways are situated at about 200 meters of the Congress Center.

By train

• From Paris (Gare de l'Est), 90 minutes, single-ticket price about 20 to 30 €.

By air

• From Paris-Orly Airport, you can take the ORLYVAL train, leading you to the RER station "Antony" (price about 10 €), where you can pick up the first upcoming B train to Paris. Step off the RER at the "Gare du Nord", have a 10 minutes walk (or take the underground or a taxi) to the "Gare de l'Est" where you can pick up a train which brings you to Reims in about 90 minutes.
• From Paris-Roissy Airport, you can take the RER train, line B to Paris (25 minutes, about 10 €). Step off the RER at the "Gare du Nord", have a 10 minutes walk (or take the underground or a taxi) to the "Gare de l'Est" where you can pick up a train which brings you to Reims in about 90 minutes.
• Shuttle service from Paris airports to the Congress Center or to your hotel (90 minutes, about 50 €) may also be arranged for the conference participants from 21 to 25 september. If you are interested, please use the shuttle booking form and email back to WODES'04 secretariat.

By motorway

• Reims is situated on the crossing of A4 and A26 motorways, and is thereby easily accessible from anywhere in Europe. Take the "Reims-Centre" exit of the A4 motorway and follow the direction "Centre des Congrès".
