In this thesis, some changes are made to a MATLAB tool (HYPENS) to simulate Petri nets discrete, continuous, and hybrid. A first change concerns the evolution of the continuous part and lets you use the tool more generally, giving the user the opportunity to specify additional constraints for the choice of firing speed of continuous transitions in addition to those in the collection of admissibility, such as closed-form specifying the speed of continuous transitions as a function of the marking reached by the network or limits on the continuous marking of a place to stay constant throughout the evolution. The speed of continuous transitions may be constrained to follow a trend or a deterministic periodic statistic satisfying some constraints. It will be possible to constrain the evolution of the network parameters upon which a function of supply and, through appropriate algorithms, to estimate the gradient and use the tools for global optimization. A second modification to the software regards the weights of the objective function. It will be possible, depending on the marking reached by the network, giving priority to certain transitions. The correctness of the changes have been verified by the analysis of simulations. The work is part of the simulation of FOHPN and optimization through IPA.
